Who We Are The Dorcas Widows Fund is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Christian organization based in the United States that supports the Dorcas Widows Ministry in Kampala, Uganda. The Dorcas Widows Ministry is a support group of 72 widows who are supporting over 400 children. The ladies have lost their husbands due to the war in Northern Uganda, HIV/AIDS, malaria, TB, or other diseases. Many of these widows have fallen victim to this kind of land grabbing by their in-laws. They struggle each day just to feed their children. Click here to learn more about DWF... Widows Community in Matuga Groundbreaking for our building project is underway! The first home to be built is a fourplex style home that will house 4 families. Click here for information on child sponsorship. 500 Mushroom Gardens are growing in the Miller Mushroom House at the Matuga Farm. The Dorcas Widows Catering Business is now catering weddings, parties and special events. Cassava, maize, beans and sweet potatoes are growing on the Matuga Farm. The pig farm is started with 2 pigs living on the farm. Each widow is receiving a TivaWater filter for her home. TUMS is being collected and distributed to 60% of the women to treat stomach pain and upset from ARV medication and existing ulcers. Download 2011 Year End Report	Donate Today!
